POTSDAM, NY – 8/17/2012 – NexID Biometrics, a leading provider of spoof mitigation and liveness detection solutions for the biometric authentication industry, today participated in a technology showcase as part of a visit to Clarkson University by U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. The focus of Senator Gillibrand’s visit was to announce proposed legislation to spur job growth through the commercialization of university-based technology and innovations. As a spin-out of research conducted at both Clarkson and West Virginia University, NexID represents such a success story, and was therefore asked to showcase its liveness detection technology for fingerprint scanning devices.
